The
caricature/cartoon workshop
2 - 6 hours
The success and efficiency of a business can depend on its
attention to detail. Caricaturing is about observing detail
and transferring it accurately to the sketch. This workshop
encourages focused creativity by outlining the basics of cartoon
sketching and demonstrating the techniques of caricaturing.
Participants can then attempt to caricature each other. Confidence
is boosted by developing this new skill and could eventually
help enliven many company reports!

Picturing
your thoughts
2 - 6 hours
A picture says a thousand words. Corporate or company messages
are more powerful when conceptualized into an image whether
they come from the management or the staff. This graphic facilitation
is particularly effective when there are live discussions
during summit meetings or brainstorming sessions - concepts
and ideas are supplied by the people in the groups then visualized
immediately by the artist and displayed around the room. Other
artists can be recruited for multiple groups. Go the extra
mile with your people and make your messages 'sticky'.

| The
innovation creation course
4 - 6 hours
Ivor facilitates an 'out of the box' thinking course using
comedy and cartoons to explore the question is innovation
a joke? This is a new and fun way to help your people
come up with innovative ideas. The aim of the course is to
furnish the participant with idea generating tools they will
find enjoyable to use and therefore continue to use in their
working environment. Comedy is a perfect 'wrapper' that disguises
the 'work' aspect of the process with something which looks
like (and is) fun.

The
storyboard exercise
1 - 2 hours
This is an excellent exercise for management teams as it
is all about brainstorming, communication, negotiation, planning,
delegation and action. Participants group into teams and organise
the production of a storyboard which needs to explain how
a particular event happened; e.g. how the caterpillar crossed
the stream and turned into a butterfly. Company themes can
be incorporated along with personnel to maximise ownership
of the event. An artist will be on hand to help out with difficult
to draw objects.

The
after dinner or keynote speaker presentation
15 - 45 minutes
The presentation is entitled Assume nothing
and aptly lives up to its name. Surprises and jokes demonstrate
how we make the most basic assumptions about the simplest
things, assumptions which eventually trick or entrap us. By
revealing how the mind is fooled by these assumptions Ivor
explains how to challenge them and thus open up a whole new
world of possibilities from the same set of circumstances.
A poweful message is delivered by the use of memorable stories
which everyone can identify with and ultimately act upon.
